How to play Solitaire

The goal

The layout

• Seven columns are dealt with the top card of each face up. The rest of the deck is the stock (top left).
• The four outlined spots marked “A” are the foundations. Each starts with an Ace and builds up by suit.

Moving cards

• In the columns, build down in alternating colors: a red 6 can go on a black 7.
• You can move a whole run of face-up cards together, as long as its top card fits where it lands.
• Only a King (or a run starting with a King) can go into an empty column.
• When you uncover a face-down card, it turns face up.

The stock

• Tap the stock to turn over 1 card (Draw 1) or 3 cards (Draw 3). Only the top card of that pile can be played.
• When the stock runs out, tap its empty spot to turn the pile back over and go through it again.

Controls

• Drag a card or run to move it.
• Double-tap a card to send it to the best spot, with foundations first.
• Undo takes back your last move. Once every card is face up and the stock is empty, the game finishes itself.
• Choose Draw 1 or Draw 3 from New game. Your records are kept separately for each.

Scoring

• +10 for each card moved to a foundation, and +5 for each card moved from the draw pile to a column.
• +5 for turning over a face-down card. −15 for moving a card back off a foundation.
• Going back through the stock costs 100 in Draw 1. In Draw 3 the first three passes are free, then it costs 20.
• 2 points come off every 10 seconds. Winning after at least 30 seconds adds a time bonus of 700,000 ÷ seconds taken.
