Play Golf

The goal

Clear all 35 cards from the seven columns by playing them onto the waste, one rank higher or lower each time.

Playing

  • Only the bottom card of each column can be played.
  • Tap it (or drag it onto the waste) when it is one higher or one lower than the waste’s top card. A 7 can go on a 6 or an 8. Suits don’t matter.
  • Playing a card uncovers the one above it, so you can build long runs up and down.

The stock

  • When nothing fits, tap the stock to turn a new card onto the waste.
  • There are 16 stock cards and the stock doesn’t recycle, so play every card you can before turning the next one.

Modes

  • Classic: no wrapping. Nothing can go on a King, and a King only goes on a Queen.
  • Wrap: Kings and Aces connect, so an Ace can go on a King and a King on an Ace.
  • Choose in New game. Your records are kept separately for each mode.

Help

  • Hint highlights every card you can play, or the stock when none fit.
  • Undo takes back as many moves as you like.
  • On a keyboard: 1–7 play a column, D or Space draws, H hints and U undoes.

The end

  • Clear every column to win. Your best time is kept for each mode.
  • If the stock is empty and no card fits, the game is over. Undo lets you try a different path.
