The goal

Squeeze a row of 52 cards down to a single pile by stacking piles whose top cards match in suit or rank.

The row

  • All 52 cards are dealt face up in one long row of piles. It reads left to right and wraps onto the next line, like text.
  • Only the top card of each pile matters.

Moving piles

  • A pile can go onto the pile right before it, or onto the pile three places before it (skipping two).
  • The two top cards must share a suit or a rank: a 7♥ can go on any heart or any 7.
  • The whole pile moves, and the row closes up to fill the gap.

Controls

  • Tap a pile to move it. If it has two places to go, both light up: tap the one you want.
  • Or drag a pile onto its target.
  • Hint shows a good move. Undo takes back as many moves as you like.
  • On a keyboard: H hints and U undoes.

Strategy

  • Moving a pile changes which cards sit next to each other, so look a few moves ahead.
  • When you have a choice, prefer the move that sets up another match next to it.
  • Most deals can be won with careful play, so use Undo to try another line.

The end

  • Get down to one pile to win. Your best time is kept.
  • When no pile can move, the game is over and the piles left are your score: fewer is better.
